We're a little place with a big heart. The Shanty has been serving the Good People of Salem for 30 years and is a local institution.
COVID PROTOCOLS
Safety protocols: · We are cleaning and disinfecting the bathroom every hour · We are regularly cleaning all high touch surfaces · Your table & chairs will be cleaned before you are seated · We will wear masks at all times. · We will wash our hands frequently, especially between cleaning tables and guest interactions. · We will stay home if we are sick. · We will hold everyone to the same safety standards to keep us all safe.
We can’t wait to have you back, but we need you to have our backs. These rules are non-negotiable, so consider them the cost of admission. · Please stay home if you, or anyone in your household is sick. · We are going to ask you for contact information for one person in each party, and we will assign you a table. · Wash your hands, or use hand sanitizer, as soon as you arrive. · Remain at your table as much as possible. · Always wear a mask when not at your table. · Wear a mask when placing your order or interacting with our crew. · Stay six feet away from other parties, especially when they are eating. · Do not move the furniture, it is arranged for your safety and ours. · No more than six people to a table. This includes children. · Please wait for the bathroom outside, we’ve set aside a safe spot for you to wait. · You may not enter the Shanty except to use the restroom. · The dining room and bar are closed. Do not use the sliding deck door. · Please be mindful of our crew members, if they ask you to do something – please do.
