Shindig is committed to sustainable fashion and decor.  Our One of One team creates upcycled apparel and are always creating new designs.  Shindig hand-paints any item that they can salvage including pop inspired vintage luggage.  Merchandise is always fresh and so much fun!

For the past ten years, Shindig! has been popping up at the coolest markets and fairs in and around the Greater Boston Area. We've evolved from our humble beginnings of peddling antiques and vintage knick knacks to an in-demand supplier of cool things that make you smile, from sassy enamel pins to funky costume jewelry and stylish upcycled and vintage clothes. Now we're bringing your favorite flea market booth to the web so you can get your Shindig! kicks from anywhere.

COVID RESPONSE SPECIFICS

We wear and sell our own masks following Mass. mask-making guidelines. We are keeping our doors open and limiting the number of shoppers. On rain days we will provide a tent outside to accommodate the overflow.

We are a local dive bar that secretly has class.  Great food, great service all served in a very casual atmosphere with absolutely no pretense. We're a little place with a big heart.  The Shanty has been serving the Good People of Salem for 30 years and is a local institution.

Artist Row 2021 Kicks off on May 1, 2021

On Saturday, May 1, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Artists’ Row will come alive with activity! Start the day at 10 a.m. when visitors can meet local artists, see them in their natural habitat, participate in free hands-on art-making activities, sign up for workshops, listen to some live tunes, grab a bite to eat and even do a bit of shopping. Just don a mask and come downtown for a visit.

2022, 2023, & 2024 Artists’ Row Call for Creatives in Salem MA.

Mayor Kim Driscoll and the Salem Public Art Commission seek creatives to take part in the City of Salem’s revitalized Artists’ Row Public Artist in Residence initiative and stalls. Artists’ Row consists of four artists ‘stalls’, a restaurant, and a public restroom and is centrally located in historic downtown Salem at 24 New Derby St., across from Old Town Hall and Derby Square. This area, at the heart of the City, was originally built as a marketplace and continues to be a thriving public plaza and pedestrian way.
